Terrible at every sport, Christina took her first yoga class in college to fulfill a P.E. credit. Starting yoga only for its physical benefits, she was surprised when she noticed reductions in her stress and anxiety as she continued to practice. Christina tried hot yoga for the first time upon moving to Albuquerque in 2015 for graduate school and was immediately addicted. She went on to pursue her RYT 200 from Blissful Spirits to learn more about the practice and herself. Humbled to join the Blissful team, Christina now wants to share the physical and mental benefits yoga has provided to her with others.
Passionate for health and nutrition, Christina works as a clinical oncology dietitian when she’s not in the hot room. She spends her free time hiking with her two corgis, reading, and playing piano. “Yoga is the music of the soul. So do continue, and the gates will open.”
