Ana first started practicing yoga in 2015 to reduce her injuries from running and weightlifting. "I had horrible balance and it was so difficult for me that I didn’t start to enjoy it until I started to notice how much calmer it made me during grad school." Ana found blissful spirits a year later and quickly became addicted to the hot yoga practice! Her balance improved rapidly, she stopped getting injured, her strength increased and most importantly her anxiety was well managed.
Ana completed my 200 hr yoga training at Blissful Spirits and an occupational therapist and yoga instructor. "I like to utilize yoga in my therapy treatment sessions to help my patients heal." She enjoys teaching yoga to promote both physical and mental health and to ensure a healthy and happy lifestyle for all students.
