My first yoga class ever was on Valentines Day 2010. A co-worker convinced me to give it a try and I truly fell in love. I was never into the gym scene, so I had some reservations, but the atmosphere at Blissful Spirits was so welcoming that it made me want to be there all the time. I was getting close to turning 50 and witnessed older relatives struggle with simply getting in and out of a car or walking across a parking lot. I was determined that I was not going to be like that. I am now in the best physical and emotional condition of my entire life. I feel strong and fit and more relaxed than I have in a very long time. I look forward to every class and can’t wait to get into the hot room. One of the things I love about yoga is that it is never boring. There will always be new poses to learn and many different teachers to learn from. Each one of the teachers at Blissful has a unique style and they really challenge me to get out of my comfort zone and experience new things. I have expanded my practice to include Vinyasa and Pilates and I want to give Yoga Sculpt and TRX a try. My only problem is how to squeeze more classes in! I absolutely LOVE Blissful Spirits and all of my wonderful teachers and great yogi friends!
