My first yoga class was a Bikram Yoga class in San Luis Obispo, CA. I immediately fell in love with the hot yoga and the determination it took to make it through such an intense class! When I moved to NM in 2009, I started practicing mainly at Blissful Spirits where I fell in love with yoga even more. Through yoga, I gained a great amount of strength and flexibility, as well as a lot of self-awareness, self-love, and a deeper relationship with God. There was a lot of healing that took place for me on so many different levels. When I take yoga, it’s more spiritual than anything for me. Scriptures will randomly go through my head, prayers, and so much more. As I started practicing more, I became further in tuned with my mind, body and spirit.
It was not until 2011 when I decided to become a Hot Yoga Teacher…I simply loved teaching yoga and it is still a passion I have today. I have met so many amazing people through teaching and I cherish all the relationships I have formed over the years. I enjoy teaching yoga just as much as I enjoy practicing yoga. By keeping up with my practice, I am able to continue learning. Being able to share my passion with others is such an amazing feeling, and I am grateful for every class I get to teach.
