Albuquerque Hot Yoga Trainers
Leslie first began her practice in college and still remembers the very first Virabhadrasana II(Warrior II) that she held for over 2 minutes. "It was both easy and challenging at the same time. I knew at that point that yoga would change my life, I just didn’t know how much." After being introduced to hot yoga in 2011 she found her true passion in her practice. She recently completed her RYT 200hr training at HYDT and plans to become certified in Yin Yoga spring 2017. Yoga has been a grounding force within her life and she believes anyone can benefit from practicing yoga – body, mind and spirit. Leslie is also a mother of 3 and works full time at a local nonprofit.
Breeze Sansom has been a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance since January 2012, completing the Sacred Hot Yoga Method teacher training in December 2011. Her personal practice began over 6 years ago and what started as a new workout quickly became a healthy habit.
She specializes in the fundamentals of yoga, focusing on the physical and emotional benefits of each pose. As the body and environment are constantly changing, she encourages each student to be accepting of how they’re feeling and what their body is capable of in this moment.
Physically, she focuses on proper alignment in postures and likes to offer modifications as stepping stones to achieving the full expression of each pose. Breeze hopes to help others connect with their inner strength, and find peace of mind and healing through their yoga practice.
Lynnette Satriana has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. She fell in love with exercise at the tender age of 14 and began competing in fitness competitions by 18. Her love for the body, its mechanics and insane ability to change and heal itself lead her to study Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, and Exercise Science obtaining a Masters and Bachelor’s degrees.
Shortly after graduating she moved to California and began to expand her interests in specializing in healing and preventing injuries with Athletes of all sorts and continued her career under an Orthopedist as an Athletic Trainer incorporating Personal Training, Physical and Aquatic Therapy in her programs.
Over the years Lynnette started to feel her own pangs of weight training and physical fitness and noticed her body began to break down, both physically, mentally and emotionally. She decided she needed a change of pace and was in search of more avenues to help heal the body and wanted more.
In 1996 while strolling through Old Town San Diego she stumbled onto a new Hot Yoga studio, Bikram Yoga and gave it a try; “Yes it was harder than hell," but after her first ninety minute class she couldn’t believe how different she felt mentally and emotionally and fell in love. Lynnette continued to practice Bikram every day for the next 3 months and noticed her physical changes as well. Her injuries began to subside and eventually disappeared. She no longer felt the pain in her lower back and knees, and no longer felt depressed and emotionally drained. She knew she wanted to share both her emotional and physical experience with others and in 2002 attended Bikram Yoga teacher training.
Shortly after, Lynnette moved back to New Mexico and at the time there was not a single Hot Yoga Studio in Albuquerque so she continued to try to practice at home as best she could. Eventually a studio opened in the Heights and then Down Town Albuquerque where she continued. Still loving the benefits of Bikram, she again wanted even more! Then, “Blissful Spirits opened!" Blissful Spirits was a breath of fresh air. Lynnette fell in love again with the Diverse Yoga Lineages and ALL of what Blissful had to offer. The health benefits continued and the rest is History.
Lynnette continues to expand her studies, also earning her Barkan Method Hot Yoga Teacher Training, Yin Yoga TT with Joe Bennett under Paul Greely, and Empowerment Movement with Kelly Green Certificates. Lynnette loves talking about the body, its healing abilities proper alignment, anatomy and the benefits of the yoga postures to her students while teaching, and continues to incorporate Hot Yoga into her training programs. She loves working with all levels of students and Athletes and constantly reminds her students, “Your body and mind can and will heal itself if you nourish it. You don’t have to be an athlete, physically fit, thin, or this, or that to do Yoga. Yoga is not a competition; it’s not about the ego, what you look like, or being a master at any posture. It’s about the journey... the rest is just a bonus."
Lynnette’s Mantra is “Where the mind goes the body follows."

Mia has been practicing yoga for 8 years, and in July of 2017 she was part of the very first group of 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training graduates here at Blissful Spirits. She believes yoga is a natural state for human beings, but many things we do daily pull us away from that harmonious state. Yoga teaches us to be present. Yoga teaches us that everything we need is already within us. Yoga brings awareness into our physical bodies. Yoga helps us to realize when we are truly blooming and when we are living in the past. She believes our yoga-journeys are all so very unique, but the one thing we all gain at the same time is a softening of our hearts allowing each of us to see the good in every situation. Yoga challenges us in all the right ways. Mia thinks all things we learn on the mat transfer to our lives off the mat, in essence blending our yoga practice with our life outside of that time. She is dedicated to her home practice because it aids in her battle against Lupus. Her personal yoga beliefs and passion for the practice are conveyed through her yoga style that consists of slow, deep stretching before moving into fun, fast vinyasa flows. She wants you to enjoy yourself, challenge yourself, and to be present.
Kathy White has worked in the fitness and health industry for over 20 years, earning her Personal Teacher certification in her early 20’s, and becoming a certified Health teacher in her 30’s. She began practicing yoga and pilates in 2010, when Blissful Spirits first opened. Although challenging at first, and very different from the 20+ years she spent in “the gym,” she realized it was exactly what she wanted and needed. She spent the next 7 years dedicated to her daily practice and saw how yoga changed her body, mind, and spirit.
Being a teacher for Special Needs children, she naturally she wanted to learn more and be able to share this gift with others- she enrolled in Blissful Spirits first Yoga Teacher Training program, and earned her Yoga Teacher Certification in July, 2017.
